As such, we are proud to be part of the bank’s philanthropic work that helps to protect, grow and enrich lives. On a continuous basis, bank directors, officers, and staff members are engaged with and involved in organizations that provide affordable housing, small business assistance, economic development, humanitarian relief and social change.

This is a view of some of the organizations we are involved with and directly support.

The Education Fund

The objective of each of The Education Fund’s programs is to work side-by-side with the private sector to support and promote quality public education for every child in Miami-Dade County Public Schools by providing teachers and students with resources they need to be successful. Bradesco Bank supports and advocates for all of their programs year-round to help students who need it most. Programs supported include but are not limited to Food Forests for Schools; Taste of Education, culinary programs; For the Love of Art, financial support for fine arts education in M-DCPS; SmartPath, empowering low-income and first-generation students to successfully prepare for college and career and Innovator & Adapter Grants.

United Way Miami

United Way Miami is improving quality of life for all by bringing together people and resources committed to building a better community. Bradesco Bank supports and advocates for United Way Miami’s UpSkill program which fosters strategic collaborations, bringing together underserved populations, training providers, and employers in Miami-Dade County. This workforce development initiative serves to upskill and reskill the local workforce, offering them training, support, and employment opportunities in high-demand industries. In addition, we support the United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education elevating the quality of early care and education in Miami and beyond, setting the foundation for children’s lifelong success. We also provide funding for Mission United’s package food boxes for low-wealth veterans.

Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade

RTMD is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods by providing extensive rehabilitation and modification services to those in need at no cost to those served. We have been a sponsor and promoter of RTMD’s National Rebuilding Day event. Bank staff members along with families and friends joined RTMD and other sponsors in repairing and renovating homes throughout South Florida.

Neighborhood Lending Partners

Since 2013, we are part of this multi-bank lending consortium, providing financing to developers of affordable housing and community revitalization. NLP is a nonprofit organization servicing State Florida through member banks and has financed over 137 housing properties comprised of both residential and commercial properties in its targeted low income markets.

Leadership Learning Center

The Leadership Learning Center (LLC) is an after-school and summer camp program rooted in a long history of service to low-income families in Little Havana. LLC helps children develop the leadership skills, academic ability, and personal character traits they need today so they may become the leaders we need tomorrow.  Bradesco Bank advocates for the organization while partnering with LLC to achieve their mission. Programs include their STEM Program, Summer Camp, and College Scholarships for low-wealth students.

Community Reinvestment Group

We are part of a consortium of financial institutions which have established a not-for-profit organization for the purpose of providing funds at zero interest for the construction and development of economic properties in low-income area. Four bank officers provide a variety of services for this organization, including loan solicitation.

The WOW Center

In addition to annual donations our bank officers and employees have attended fundraising events to support The WOW Center, a nonprofit organization that provides quality programs and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Wow Center offers adults with developmental disabilities support, guidance and encouragement regarding their personal choices in conjunction with education and work programs.

Miami Homes for All

Miami Homes for All (MHFA) is a champion for low-income and no-income residents across Miami-Dade County who struggle to find a safe AND affordable place to live. MHFA brings the right information and people to the table to affect sustainable housing policies.  Bradesco Bank sponsors and advocates for their programs and helps MHFA in pushing for more public and private investment in housing and services to prevent displacement. Building the wealth of Black and Brown residents. Partnering with developers and landowners of color to create and rehabilitate affordable housing in historic, minority neighborhoods. Also, programs that build up young leaders with lived experience of houselessness to advocate for housing and homelessness initiatives. Bradesco Bank is a supporter of their Miami Housing and Health Summit. This summit is the first of its kind gathering of leaders from healthcare, philanthropic and housing sectors convening to strategize on collaborative solutions for affordable housing in Miami.

Guitars over Guns

Guitars Over Guns (GOGO) is a nonprofit that offers students from disadvantaged backgrounds a powerful combination of music education and mentorship with professional musicians to help them overcome hardship, find their voice, and reach their potential as tomorrow’s leaders. Guitars Over Guns creates safe spaces for youth to express themselves through music and empowers them to make positive choices at school, at home and in their communities.   Bradesco Banks supports and enables GOGO to create opportunities for youth to thrive in their communities.

Saint John Bosco Clinic

Our donations are aimed at helping support this nonprofit clinic that provides free primary healthcare and preventive care services, medicine, and screenings services for pediatrics, adults, women’s health and geriatrics to the uninsured poor. They also help their patients navigate through the maze of available health care services in our community.

Branches

Branches provides life-changing opportunities to hardworking families and their children to help them break the cycle of generational poverty. Bradesco Bank supports and advocates for several Branches’ initiatives throughout the year such as their Micro Business Program, Back to School Supply Drive, Thanksgiving Meal Delivery for 5000 meals in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, and Under the Tree Toy Drive and Shops.

Kristi House

We are proud to be the Legacy Sponsor in support of Kristi House, a non-profit organization providing services for children and their families, who are victims of sexual abuse. Since 2010 we have been in involved in the work Kristi House provides in the form of treatment, advocacy, and coordination of services, within a healing environment, for child victims of sexual abuse and their families, as well as education and prevention services to end child sexual abuse.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami (BBBSM) creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.  Serving our community since 1958, BBBSM is a premier nonprofit mentoring organization in South Florida. They champion hope, transformation, and social good, defending the potential of children who most need it. Bradesco Bank supports BBBSM by helping to fund their programs and advocating for their needs.

Chapman Partnership

Chapman Partnership provides comprehensive programs and services in collaboration with others that empower our residents with dignity and respect to overcome homelessness and achieve and maintain long-term self-sufficiency. Bradesco Bank is a supporter of their programs and in addition, the bank has five Chapman Nextgen membership seats which have been filled by our Bradesco Bank colleagues. Chapman has their NextGen program made up of Miami’s young professionals and community ambassadors, who work to increase awareness, revenue, and advocacy for Chapman Partnership.

Breakthrough Miami

Each year, we allocate scholarship funds to Breakthrough Miami to launch high potential middle school participants into academic enrichment programs intended to inspire and prepare the students for high school and college. Breakthrough Miami is a nonprofit organization that has changed the lives of thousands of low income, disadvantaged students and their families by systematically moving students out of poverty through education.

Americans for Immigrant Justice

Americans for Immigrant Justice (Al Justice) is an award-winning non- profit law firm that fights for justice for immigrants through a combination of direct representation, impact litigation, advocacy, and outreach. Bradesco Bank personnel advocate for and support fundraising efforts held for this non-profit organization so that Al Justice can continue providing vital legal services that support our community and uphold values of equal opportunity and due process for
all.

American Cancer Society

In addition to sponsoring this event, we have a registered bank team that participates in “Making Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness”, an annual fundraising event. Funds collected are contributed to research, education, advocacy and patient services related to breast cancer.
